Rufus Müller's performance class recital
All too often, and for far too long, female composers have been relegated to the sidelines or worse.  We are fortunate to have our own Bard beacon in the form of Joan Tower, who stands on the shoulders of many generations of women composers.
Come to hear the undergraduate singers and pianists of Professor Rufus Müller’s Performance Workshop, presenting songs by composers such as Barbara Strozzi, Clara Schumann, Pauline Viardot, Lili and Nadia Boulanger, Alma Mahler, Amy Beach, Jean Coulthard, Ethel Smyth, Rebecca Clarke, and Carrie Jacobs-Bond.
